Our collection comprises two main lines: marble art and jewellery. 'Ebru' is the traditional Turkish art of paper marbling, which boasts a rich history dating back to the 16th century in the Ottoman Empire. Described as 'painting on water', 'ebru' is the creation of patterns by sprinkling and brushing colour pigments onto a basin of water thickened with tragacanth (a natural gum), which are then carefully transferred onto paper, therefore making each marbled paper unique. Our jewellery (necklaces) are hand-made using a selection of gemstones from Turkey (phantom quartz, pearl, agate), inspired from the goddesses and myths of Smyrna, complemented by a curation of other necklaces and earrings in Sterling Silver.
